Cox Medical Center Branson's Cardiac Rehabilitation program has received national recognition through certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

Cardiac rehabilitation is a medically supervised program designed to help individuals improve their cardiovascular health following a heart event or surgery. The program combines education, exercise and lifestyle support to help patients build strength, reduce risk factors and return to the life they enjoy.
"Our cardiovascular rehabilitation program adheres to the best practices across the country demonstrated by our AACVPR certification,” says Hollie Holderfield, nurse manager of the cardiac rehab program at Cox Medical Center Branson. “We take great pride in providing a program that meets these high standards of care, allowing our patients to access exceptional cardiac rehabilitation services close to home.”
AACVPR-certified programs are recognized leaders in the field and are recertified every three years.
