Cox Medical Center Branson's Case Management Department will host a Palliative and Hospice Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, in the hospital’s Tree Conference Rooms.
The event will bring together various local hospice, palliative care and other agencies and organizations to provide education, resources and networking opportunities for both hospital staff and community members. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about the compassionate services available in the Branson area for patients and families facing serious illnesses or end-of-life care.
“Last year’s fair was a tremendous success, giving our staff and visitors the opportunity to connect directly with local hospice and palliative care teams and learn about the support they offer,” says Monica Reemes, a palliative care social worker and co-coordinator of the event at Cox Medical Center Branson.
“We’re excited to build on that momentum this year by helping connect our staff and local residents to the wealth of resources in our community.”
The vendor fair is open to all Cox Branson employees, patients, visitors and community members.
“We encourage everyone to take a few minutes out of their day to visit the hospital, meet local experts, and gather helpful information about compassionate care options available close to home,” adds Reemes.
