Citywide Spring Cleanup begins March 30

The City of Branson Public Works/Engineering Department will conduct its annual Spring Cleanup beginning Monday, March 30, 2026. This is a service the city offers at no cost to help residents properly dispose of large, unwanted items that are not typically picked up by trash haulers to help keep Branson beautiful.
The cleanup service is available for individual residents of Branson, but not for businesses or commercial entities. The pick-up dates are as follows:
● Ward 1: All items out no later than Monday, March 30 at 6 a.m.
● Ward 2: All items out no later than Tuesday, March 31 at 6 a.m.
● Ward 3: All items out no later than Wednesday, April 1 at 6 a.m.
● Remaining areas will be completed on Thursday and Friday, April 2 and 3, 2026.

Spring cleanup important informationAll items must be at the curb by 6 a.m. on pick-up day. Crews will not backtrack and can NOT pick up any garbage normally collected by private refuse haulers.
The city can NOT collect refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, mattresses, tires, electronics, batteries, bagged leaves/lawn clippings or household hazardous waste products including paint, stain or cleaning supplies.
What items will the city pick up?City crews will pick up large, unwanted and difficult-to-manage items like brush, BBQ grills and furniture that can’t be picked up by residential trash haulers.
Brush does not need to be bundled, tied, or bagged. Limbs should be cut and stacked at the curb in manageable 4-5 ft. foot piles. No more than one dump truckload of limbs and brush will be hauled from any one residence.
For the pick-up of exceptionally heavy items such as sofas or large appliances and brush, residents are asked to call Public Works/Engineering, 417-337-8559 Ext: 1305, at least 24 hours before their scheduled pick-up day.
