Athletes from Branson Ultimate Gymnastics recently competed at the Missouri State Gymnastics Championships and had an outstanding finish across multiple levels including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Level 7.
The Bronze team was led by All-Around State Champion Kinsleigh Thress, highlighting a strong season for the youngest competitive team.
The Xcel Silver team had an impressive meet with multiple top All-Around finishes and several scores of 9.5 or higher. All of the 16 athletes on the silver team contributed to a very successful State meet with personal bests and strong routines across all events.
The Gold team placed eighth as a team at State out of 48 teams and had multiple All-Around placements, including four athletes placing second All-Around. Event State Champions included Delainey (Vault & Beam), Maddie (Bars), Mojave (Beam) and Brynlei (Floor).
The Platinum team also had a strong State meet, highlighted by Cassie Greenamyer scoring a 9.8 on Bars and Hosanah Mann earning first place on Beam. They finished ninth place as a team out of 40 teams.
At the Level 7 Missouri State Championships in St. Louis, Olivia Austin was crowned All-Around State Champion, while Layla Hughes matched the winning All-Around score, and Briley Moore delivered a strong performance in the highly competitive division.
Branson Ultimate Gymnastics opened its new facility in November and continues to grow, offering classes for ages 18 months through adults, as well as competitive teams, camps, open gyms and birthday parties.
“We are incredibly proud of our athletes and the hard work they put in all season,” said owner and head coach Sara Nevatt. “Gymnastics teaches perseverance, confidence and work ethic, and these athletes showed all of those qualities this season.”
