Bible Baptist Church will host its annual Trap Shoot on Saturday, Sept. 12, bringing members of the community together for an evening centered on fellowship, friendly competition and outdoor recreation.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Crane Trap Field. According to the church’s announcement, the event is free to attend and is open to the community.
The annual gathering is designed to provide an opportunity for people to spend time together outside while enjoying the sport of trap shooting. Organizers describe the event as an evening of “fun, fellowship and community,” welcoming both experienced participants and those who enjoy gathering with friends and neighbors.
Participants who take part in the shooting activities are asked to provide their own firearm, ammunition and appropriate safety equipment. Eye and ear protection are required, emphasizing the importance of following proper safety practices throughout the event. Trap shooting involves shooting at clay targets launched into the air, providing a recreational activity that requires focus, coordination and attention to safety. The event will take place at the Crane Trap Field, providing an outdoor setting for the evening.
While the shooting is an important part of the gathering, organizers say fellowship is at the heart of the event. The church is inviting community members to spend the evening together and enjoy the opportunity to connect with others.
Bible Baptist Church, which promotes the message “Love God, Love People, Invest in Lifetimes,” regularly emphasizes community and fellowship through its activities and outreach.
The Sept. 12 Trap Shoot is another opportunity for the church to bring people together in a relaxed outdoor setting. Those attending are encouraged to be mindful of all posted range rules and safety requirements and to follow the direction of event organizers and range personnel.
The event will run for two hours, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., giving participants and attendees an opportunity to enjoy an evening at the Crane Trap Field.
For those interested in learning more about the event, Bible Baptist Church is encouraging community members to watch for additional information from the church. The annual Trap Shoot is one of the church’s opportunities to foster fellowship beyond its regular services, combining an outdoor activity with time spent building connections within the community.
