Author to speak at Women’s Luncheon

Author Victoria Burks will speak at the Christian Women’s Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Pointe Royale Clubhouse, 142 Clubhouse Dr., Branson.

Burks has published several romantic suspense and murder mysteries, including “Hope Finds a Way,” “A Legacy of Love,” “Bittersweet Justice” and “Forbidden Garden.” She has also published devotionals, including “One Year of Daily Prayers to Inspire Faith.” In addition, she wrote the biography of Rodger and Nadine Perkins, missionaries to Japan for thirty-four years.
Educated at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, she resides in Oklahoma and is a frequent speaker for women’s groups, libraries and book clubs.
The group will also hear from Gerrie Moore, who will tell about Jeans for Teens, a local charity that donates jeans to teenagers who cannot afford them.
