St. Joseph Anglican Church hosts special Palm Sunday service

St. Joseph Anglican Church, 438 Sunrise Cove in Branson, is hosting a special Palm Sunday, service on April 5 at 10:30 a.m. In order to comply with city ordinances regarding COVID-19 and to avoid close contact with others, people will stay in their cars and be directed around the lot to receive a special blessing and palm branches. Social distancing will always be observed.
Palm Sunday is a Christian ‘moveable feast’ celebrated on the Sunday before Easter to commemorate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. In most liturgical churches Palm Sunday is celebrated by the blessing and distribution of palm branches to symbolize the crowd scattering the branches in front of Christ as he rode into Jerusalem.
