Special Board of Aldermen meeting scheduled for Monday

The Branson Board of Aldermen will hold a special public meeting in the Branson City Hall council chambers, 110 W. Maddux Street at noon on Monday, May 4. The topic of discussion will be Chapter 58 of the Branson Municipal Code pertaining to personal conduct, enclosed public spaces and the spread of communicable diseases. The Board will be looking at, discussing, and voting, on changes to the ordinance that would allow the City to start reopening sooner and relaxing some of the current restrictions.
In accordance with the changes to Chapter 58 of the Branson Municipal Code regarding public gatherings and social distancing, physical attendance will be limited inside the council chambers to 37 people. The City greatly encourages people to watch the meetings from home.
The Board of Aldermen meetings will be streamed on the City’s website www.bransonmo.gov. Watch the meeting by clicking “Live Stream” on the front page of the website. The Board of Aldermen meetings will also be live-streamed on the @BransonCity “City of Branson Government” Facebook page.

The Board of Aldermen’s regular meetings are on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month unless canceled or otherwise scheduled. Additional meetings are scheduled as deemed necessary and posted by the Board.
