Castleshire presents The Great Imposter Ball

Is there a Mark Twain look-alike out there? Or a Tom Sawyer? An Alice in Wonderland? A Princess Bride?


All ages are invited to dress up as their favorite character from literature, film or their favorite author in this masquerade event on Saturday, May 13, 5-9 p.m. at Castleshire in the Great Hall at Chateau Charmant, Fordland. The ball will benefit the Springfield-Greene County Library District Foundation. Dress as an individual character, or make it a group or family affair! Dine on hors d'oeuvres and dance to the music of D.J. Charles Robinson. Awards will be given for best costumes.


Reservations are required. Tickets are $25 for adults, $12.50 for children age 12 and under, families over four children under 12 are $10 each. Castleshire at Chateau Charmant is a nonprofit which promotes historical education through interactive events which fire youths' imaginations.
