The Branson Parks & Recreation Department, in coordination with the City of Branson, would like to offer assistance to those in high-risk demographics in need throughout the Branson community during this difficult time as we continue to deal with the COVID-19 response. In an effort to ensure the health and safety of our at-risk population, we are offering complimentary grocery pick-up and delivery for seniors and the immunocompromised beginning on Wednesday, March 25.
Those who are interested in this service should contact the Branson Parks & Recreation Department at 417-335-2368 to request assistance Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Prepare and have ready a list of essential needs at the time of the call so you can be served in the most effective manner possible. We request that recipients limit lists to essential items only to allow us to serve the largest number possible.
Those utilizing the service will have the ability to pay by providing the grocery store with their credit card information over the phone while the volunteer is checking out.
Once the pick-up is complete, the delivery will be brought directly to the individual in need. Essential items will be left on the doorstep, and the volunteer will ring the doorbell to notify the recipient. This will allow limited contact between the individuals.
For more information on this service or to request a delivery of essential items, contact the Branson RecPlex at 417-335-2368.
