American Red Cross blood drive scheduled July 24
Submitted to Branson Globe
The American Red Cross has scheduled a blood drive at Our Lady of the Lake Parish Center, 202 Vaughn Drive, Branson on July 24 from noon until 5 p.m.
The blood drive is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
There is a critical shortage of all blood types and blood products, and all eligible donors are encouraged to give.
If you are at least 18 years old, weigh at least 110 lbs., and are in good health, you may be eligible to donate.
To donate, bring a valid photo I.D. and/or a Red Cross donor card.
For the safety of donors, volunteers and collection staff, all health precautions will be enforced. Temperatures will be checked at the door. Wear a mask; if you don’t have a mask, one will be provided for you. And, as always, if you are not feeling well, please stay home.
Appointments to donate are recommended. Go to www.redcrossblood.org to schedule your appointment.
